Because of the buying power that we have at the Community Food Bank of Eastern Oklahoma (and some local retailers), we can usually acquire more food with your dollar than you can. For that reason, we encourage groups to raise money for BAN instead of food drives when possible.

However, we also know that sometimes it’s easier to get people behind a food drive and it can have more “visual” appeal. We are very grateful for all the donations (food and funds) we receive from the community of Broken Arrow and rely on the generous support from local businesses, churches and schools.
