Welcome to Broken Arrow Neighbors!

Thank you for allowing us to share Broken Arrow Neighbors (BAN) with you. As an emergency basic needs service agency, we strive to provide assistance that promotes self-sufficiency. Our programs are designed to meet the needs of those in crisis while encouraging personal accountability. Our daily operations are supported by a small, but strong, staff of 4 along with a group of dedicated and diversified volunteers. Broken Arrow Neighbors manages each request on a case by case basis with the hope of serving the total person. “To provide basic needs assistance with dignity and compassion to neighbors in need through a cooperative community effort” is the mission of Broken Arrow Neighbors and remains the pinnacle of our focus.

  • BAN recently hosted a team from Cox Communications for a tour of our facility. This was a fabulous event and we were happy to have the opportunity to thank Cox Foundation for a recent grant to BAN in the amount of $3,000. Thanks Cox for all you do for BAN!

  • Through a recent survey, BAN clients shared ideas for issues of concern for them. This brought about a partnership with Legacy Counseling Service and Broken Arrow Neighbors. The therapists at Legacy volunteered to address these issues by hosting free one-hour seminars for BAN clients and community members once a month. These seminars provide excellent tips and resources for improving life skills and mental health. Thank you Legacy Counseling Service. You are doing great work!

BAN Celebrates 4 Years in New Facility

In October 2014 Broken Arrow Neighbors (BAN) moved in to our new facility. We have come a long way from working out of our “little white house.” Our Comprehensive Community Resource Center offers many services and programs that enable BAN to be the dynamic and ever-evolving basic needs organization we are today. As we look to the future we recognize that we have already utilized all of the available space in this facility. Our Board of Directors has determined that we need to remove the 4 portable storage sheds and construct an additional warehouse addition to our existing facility. Phase II of our capital campaign will break ground in January 2019. We are excited to bring all of our resources under one roof. Please follow our journey as we once again grow BAN through our mission of “assistance with dignity!”
