Thank you for allowing us to share Broken Arrow Neighbors (BAN) with you. As an emergency basic needs service agency, we strive to provide assistance that promotes self-sufficiency. Our programs are designed to meet the needs of those in crisis while encouraging personal accountability. Our daily operations are supported by a small, but strong, staff of 4 along with a group of dedicated and diversified volunteers. Broken Arrow Neighbors manages each request on a case by case basis with the hope of serving the total person. “To provide basic needs assistance with dignity and compassion to neighbors in need through a cooperative community effort” is the mission of Broken Arrow Neighbors and remains the pinnacle of our focus.
In October 2014, Broken Arrow Neighbors (BAN) moved into our new facility. We have come a long way from working out of our "little white house." Our Comprehensive Community Resource Center offers many services and programs that enable BAN to be the dynamic and ever-evolving basic needs organization we are today. In December 2017, we outgrew our pantry space and expanded into the adjacent warehouse space. Although this was a wonderful addition to our pantry, we began to run out of storage space. In 2019, we built our new warehouse facility! We are elated to be able to now bring all of our resources to the same location.
Thank you for your interest in Broken Arrow Neighbors. Join with us in our mission to "provide basic needs assistance with dignity and compassion to neighbors in need through a cooperative community effort."
